Internal banners for the community
Different interactive banners were placed on the home page as well as on the user’s pages. In the early stages of the Community these rotating banners were in charge of welcoming the users and explaining how the Community works e.g. An interactive banner that once the user clicked on it would show Brenda explaining how to add friends or how to write an article.
The production of special banners for the web site was one of the most rewarding activities organized by the communities Team. In these banners the cast improvised, played, made stuff up thus converting these videos into perfect examples of stimulating users. The banners reached a level of originality that would never of been possible with a script. The spontaneity and enthusiasm of the kids, combined with the work from the Team returned results that speak for themselves.

Promotions and Contests
Evidently, contests are an effective way to stimulate the participation of users in the Community. The Community constantly has different challenges that reward the users’ participation. They can win photos with the actor’s signatures for uploading the most amount of videos or for writing the most amount of articles, etc. The idea behind constantly rewarding user participation keeps the Community active and their interests alive

Special banners were created that redirected the users to a new space where they could see short horror videos produced by the cast. These videos where also available in a Flip Book format so that the users could download them and have a flip book.
